What are the assumptions for the era of the emphasis on person NOT environments from 1945 to 1960?

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Social work continues to develop “person” focused practice drawn from multiple psychologies with little incorporation of roles played by physical and natural environments. Even with emergence of group and family therapy, focus is on social environment which ignores all other aspects of environment or relegates their importance to the meaning given them by the individual. Twin forces of professionalization and broader political, economic, and cultural factors support disconnect between persons-in-environments.
