If there is a switch in the sequence students take secondary school sciences to physics followed by chemistry, followed by biology, what potential curricula implications can occur?
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Students should indicate physics would have to make radical changes in approach. And, since it is now an early course, the heavy use of mathematics from the traditional course would have to change to something more concrete. At the other end, biology could become more heavily involved in physiology and biochemistry and less oriented toward a vocabulary-type course.
