The methods section of a qualitative research study also emphasizes the validity of the researcher's arguments and conclusions. In the results section the evidence supporting the researcher's assertions about the information. There must be a balance between description and interpretation. In mixed research reports, the format is similar to quantitative and qualitative studies; however, the researcher must decide how to organize the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the study within the sections of the research report. Typically this is done by research question and then by the separate research paradigms.
