I just do not follow the logic. Would it not be wiser for them to see if they could lower the salaries of the administration? The superintendent makes a whopping $175K for what? Why should he be paid this huge salary when the students and teachers are suffering? The students are receiving less of a well-rounded education and a lot less individualized attention when they end up sitting in a class of 40. Our state government has enough money to fund the construction of casinos and major road construction of roads that don’t need it.
