Describe the different levels of consultation in regard to their purposes and their effectiveness

What will be an ideal response?

Different levels of consultation based on purpose and effectiveness:
• Individual
• Self-monitoring
• Self-measurement
• Self-mediation
• Self-maintenance
• Group
• Several individuals share a similar problem
• Organization/community consultation
• Consultants possess sophisticated knowledge of systems
• Organization or community consultants are external to the project
• Most of the activities involve individuals and/or groups
• Effectiveness and purpose:
• Effectiveness of each level depends on the problem at hand. Each can be effective if they are aligned appropriately with a problem. For example, a group level problem that is addressed on an individual level may be less effective.
