Explain what it means to say that interviews are interactional.
What will be an ideal response?
Interviews are interactional because there is a sharing or exchanging of information on a variety of topics. This requires that both parties engage in the sharing and exchanging of ideas. If only one person communicated while the other remained silent, then an interview would not be occurring. Instead, it would be considered public speaking.
