Have you ever noticed how few people drive at the speed limit? Most drivers stretch it at least 10
miles per hour beyond the limit, and many go even faster. In fact, when someone does keep to the
speed limit, it makes the motorists behind the driver frustrated and anxious to get past so they can
go at their normal fast speed. When police officers give speeding tickets, it’s usually when someone
is going way beyond the speed limit. But can you imagine how many tickets the police would give
out if they stopped everyone who went faster than the speed limit?
