Why should people not panic if they consume foods that contain traces of mineral oils?

People can reduce the amount of a pre-packaged food that they eat at a sitting. They could also decrease the frequency at which they have such a food. It is thought that 2 mg of mineral oil could leak into a serving of 100 grams of rice. This is not harmful in itself but over time, the oils could accumulate. If people are aware of this potential danger, they can make conscious choices to reduce their exposure to mineral oils until the food packaging experts develop an alternative to using recycled cardboard with mineral oil containing inks.
