Explain how socioeconomic or cultural differences might affect dramatic play

What will be an ideal response?

ANSWER: Economically deprived children are more object-centered in their play with less imaginative language and are less likely to carry out a role. Certain cultures do not engage in fantasy or fantasy play. If children have LEP, dramatic play will be limited because of language. It may be, however, that solitary dramatic play with familiar objects is a way to help the child feel comfortable.
