How does the Ethics 2000 version of MR 1.6 differ from its prior version?

What will be an ideal response?

The Ethics 2000 version requires “informed consent” from the client before the lawyer is
authorized to disclose client information. It also has broader exceptions for the lawyer to
prevent the client from committing fraud or economic harm, as well as crimes. There are also
more express authorizations for the lawyer, including allowing the lawyer to disclose client
information to another lawyer in order for the lawyer to get legal ethics advice.
