Every educational program in ABA is selected according to whether it is appropriate, meaningful, and functional for the individual. Questions the researcher should ask include:
a. Are the skills likely to be maintained in the everyday, natural environment?
b. Will the responses help improve the quality of a person’s life?
c. Can the skills be used outside the teaching situation or learning environment?
