Define vision and mission statement and explain what happens when they are combined.
What will be an ideal response?
Vision Statement: What the company expects to become as an organization at a particular point in the future. Mission Statement: The company’s expectations of what they’re going to do to become the organization that it envisions. Vision + Mission = FOCUS. By combining the vision and the mission statement, the people in the organization can focus on a particular direction because they receive a complete picture of what direction they are supposed to go in. By getting everyone on the same page, it is more likely that the organization will achieve the desired end result.
