State three benefits to language development from adult-toddler storybook sharing

What will be an ideal response?

When adults share books with toddlers, there are several ways in which their language development is enhanced. Storybook sharing exposes children to more complex syntactic structures, as well as enriched vocabulary. When the storybook has a rhyming text or features alliteration, phonological knowledge is enhanced. Additionally, storybook sharing enhances pragmatic development as children are introduced to different forms of language and written words.
