What is the second function of a speech conclusion and why is it important?

What will be an ideal response?

The second function is to activate audience response by letting your listeners know whether you
want them to accept, remember, use, believe, or act on the content of your speech. This is important
because you want to remind the audience of what they should have taken away from the speech so they
don't feel as though they have wasted their time. You are challenging them to remember and use what
they learned.
