The client/host is responsible for the guests' happiness, and the caterer may have to teach them how to successfully host an event. Making sure the house is in the same condition after the event as when the event began. Clients may make unrealistic demands and have impractical expectations. These are all important considerations, having the right equipment, cleanliness and sanitation issues, square footage of the home, bathroom availability, staging area, zoning requirements, alcohol issues, parking space, dedicated work space, menu design, kitchen space, children, pets, and monitoring (controlling) the host and hostess.
